As the founder and Directress of Golden Bridge International College (Pvt.) Ltd., I, Rebecca Randiwela, welcome you to our vibrant educational community. My journey as an educator began with a profound realisation as a mother: nothing is more precious than the wellbeing and growth of my children. This conviction inspired me to establish Golden Bridge International College, a women-led institution where I can nurture not only my own children but also countless others, ensuring they remain under the shadow of care, guidance, and inspiration.
Having explored various paths in life, motherhood transformed my perspective, illuminating the importance of balancing professional aspirations with the joys of raising children. After furthering my education and recognising the value of financial independence and a fulfilling career, I chose a path that allowed me to remain close to my children. Golden Bridge International College embodies this vision—a place where I can serve society while fostering the holistic development of every child under our care. By enrolling my eldest son in our college, I affirm my commitment to providing a structured, balanced education that empowers students to achieve their personal goals in academics, sports, and the arts.
At Golden Bridge, we believe education extends beyond the classroom. Our five divisions—Golden Steps Preschool, Golden Crib Day-Care Centre, Golden Heaven by Rebecca Randiwela, Golden Bridge International College, and Golden Gate Education Centre—offer a nurturing environment where students develop intellectually, emotionally, and socially. With small class sizes of nine students, our all-female faculty provides personalised attention, fostering skills that prepare students for a lifetime of success. Our strict English-Speaking Zone enhances communication, while our inclusive ethos, free from religious affiliations, instils respect for all faiths and cultures.
As a committed educator and mother, I dedicate myself to the betterment and growth of every child at Golden Bridge. My ultimate goal is to guide students to love and respect their families, embrace diversity, and contribute meaningfully to society. We strive to mould well-rounded individuals who value honesty, loyalty, and gratitude, equipping them to serve our motherland, Sri Lanka, with strength and pride. Together, as a family, we will rise to meet this challenge, helping each student achieve their dreams and aspirations.
